Imagine being able to understand, capture and retain all the information presented at a seminar. ClickNotes' software solution makes all this possible.
With ClickNotes™ it is possible to capture unlimited digital input channels in real-time and store them within a single .IQ file, whereby all data captured is digitized and synchronized, whereby time becomes the common point of reference for all data captured.
What restrictions are there with the way things are now?
The human brain is very limited in its capacity to understand, capture and retain new information. For teaching new information, spaced repetition is the only way. If we fail to capture new information when it is presented, it then becomes impossible for us to recall and review this information later.
When our brain is consciously or un consciously presented with information, the brain will generalize it, distort it or simply delete it. If the brain did not do this, we would be in a constant state of sensory overload.
From a learning transfer perspective between speaker and delegate in the seminar, the delegate has a serious problem. Regardless how committed the delegate is listening and taking notes, they can not record and capture everything presented while also trying to understand everything presented.
How ClickNotes' software solutions makes your life easier!
The solution to record and capture everything is to leverage the power of computers to augment our brain and act as a aid / assistant to ensure that everything that is presented is recorded and captured. This is achieved by digitally converting every input channel. In a seminar, we have a speaker talking, so we need to digitally record what is said to a PC. If the speaker is using Power Point we need to seamlessly capture every slide displayed, we can do this by installing a "Capture plug-in" that automatically captures every slide presented along with date and time information when the slide was presented so it can be synchronized with the digital audio. If a White board is being used to convey additional information, we can convert all written or drawn information to digital by using digital marker. All whiteboard data captured also includes date and time information a by speaker and record this captured information with date and time information so it can also be synchronized with the digital audio. Lastly in relationship to the delegates who are taking notes, we can replace their existing ink based pens with hybrid digital pens that write on paper just like a normal pen but at the same time are digitally recording and storing every pen stoke for every character, image or word drawn on the paper, not only that, every pen stoke has associated date and time information associated with it, which means it can be synchronized also with the digital audio, Power Point images and White boards notes.
In summary, we digitized and synchronized every form of communication (spoken words, printed words, displayed images etc) within the seminar that is relevant to the learning transfer process. If associated documents, web links or photographs are required we can capture this information also, as illustrated in the image below.
